Nivin gave me a slap around the head and told me type monkey type… So I’m back at it.
This is a call out to all Army Vet’s, I want me some Combat boots but I can’t seem to find any in this lovely little bit of land we live in. Mind you, I still have not checked out the Army Surplus shop on K’rd which is a very dope place for that type of gear.
I think my fascination for Combat started when I saw Willie Apiata, homeboy looks so bad ass but yet so comfortable. So this got me searching to find my dream pair of combat boots.
Timberlands effort

My thoughts - It’s a combination of their classic outdoor look with a touch of a classic dress. Timberlands effort is too much of a dress shoe for me. I want my boot to look like it’s been through rough times, even if I haven’t.
Time Hamilton “Redux” Collection
Did I say I wanted my shoes to look like they have had a rough time? Well these babies look like they have been through it all, including walking at midnight through a Hamilton Dairy Farm… Might be someone’s milkshake but they are not bringing me to the yard.
Doc Martens White Combat Boot
Is a Combat boot allowed to be white? Its very fresh and clean until that one person stands on your toes… This is combat with a punk influence. A classic Doc cut and I am sure it will take a good 3 months to wear them in.
Christian Peau Lace up
Heavy duty hard wearing and a leather sole that will make these a very comfortable boot for 400 pounds… yup pounds.
So as you can see I am still on the search for my pair, but it is all about the chase.
I’m back bitches.
Enjoy the journey
J
