Can you spell tune?
One of the bigger tracks from last year - when you put Simian, Beth Ditto and Joker all on the same track you are always going to find fire. I haven’t had much time to drop a fully Nivin-analysis on the tune, but this remix feels a bit more upbeat for me as opposed to the usual Dubstep stuff we get. Nice hard drums with some lovely raw synth lines that give it a slight nostalgic feel.
On a side note, and I may get in trouble for this, I love Beth Ditto. Say what you want about her looks or lifestyle but god-damn that girl can sing. If you haven’t checked out The Gossip’s album, I highly recommend you pick it up.
